I am the founder of JK Physical Therapy. I have 8 years of sports medicine experience.I specialize in manual orthopaedic techniques for spine and pelvic joint, various musculoskeletal pathologies, post-surgical rehabilitation and sport-related injuries. I am fluent in Korean and English and offer a very personalized approach to patient care. My passion is to help athletes recover from injuries, surgeries and return to their 100% performance.However, I also enjoy working with pediatric and geriatric patients.
I received my master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh and completed an internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Sports Medicine complex, working with Division I athletes and Pittsburgh Steelers. I received my doctoral degree in physical therapy from Utica College. I am also a certified strength and conditioning specialist and a certified Kinesio tape practitioner.
I like seeing patients get better and becoming more independent. Patients love my caring empathic attitude, My can do, nothing is impossible approach, knowledgeable and professional approach. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and son. I enjoy working out and spending time watching and playing basketball.
